The 5th International Conference on Metal-Organic Frameworks & Open Framework Compounds (MOF2016) is the premier conference focused on open framework materials, which represent a fast-growing new field of chemistry. The excitement and interest in these materials is clear from the explosion of papers in the scientific literature - open framework-related papers are among the most highly cited in recent years.
MOF2016 follows four very successful bi-annual conferences, most recently in Kobe, Japan, and will encompass metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent organic frameworks (COFs), and recent additions to the field of nanoporous materials, such as molecular cage compounds.
