Following a successful 2nd event in Cape Town with standing room only in the conference, a sold out exhibition and 30+ different service provider companies in attendance across the two days, the annual Next Generations Optical Networking Africa conference will return 14-15th February 2017 to a larger venue in Cape Town. The main discussion covered were the need for business connectivity and the need of rapid deployment to many and how terrestrial backhaul networks could bring subsea capacity inside African continent.
