One of the region's largest specialised medical gatherings, EROC focuses on the latest developments in ear, nose, and throat diseases. Its scope covers areas such as allergies, head and neck surgery, cochlea, audiology, swallowing and communication disorders, otology and neurotology, rhinology and skull base surgery.
With hundreds of lectures, speakers and sessions, the conference component aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, support research and showcase cutting-edge technologies. Four workshops have also been lined up, starting with the 12th edition of the Temporal Bone Dissection Course, with a hands-on hearing implant session. Three other workshops will all feature hands-on cadaver dissection: the 14th Pan Arab Rhinology Basic & Advanced Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) course; the 13th Intensive Snoring & Sleep Apnea Course; and the 12th Aesthetic and Functional Septorhinoplasty Course.
The accompanying exhibition features numerous local and international companies, presenting their latest products and devices.
In 2025, the Congress is set to reach an even more global audience, due to several key partnerships, such as those with the International Association of Phonosurgery and the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies. Additionally, this year the event will be a combined meeting with ASEAN Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck and, for the second consecutive year, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
