The ISE 2018 symposium will jointly be convened by the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) and International Society for River Science (ISRS). The event aims to bridge the knowledge gap between hydraulics and biological systems in Hydro-Environment. The major themes of the ISE 2018 are a) aquatic biota movements, b) e-flows, i.e. environmental, instream or ecological flow regimes, and c) lake and river habitat restoration. The symposium will also cover other themes related to ecohydraulics, riparian and lake ecosystems, for example hydraulics, water engineering, fluvial processes and geomorphology.
