İzmir is the leader city of Turkey with regards to agriculture and food products. According to the course which was set in "Izmir Agriculture and Food Summit" that was organized last year, 3 sub sectors have been identified as Milk and Milk Products Industry and Exportation, Fresh and Dry Fruit Vegetable Processing and Exportation, and Fisherins within the frame of sectoral prioritization of food vision of the city.
