Building on the tremendous success of the previous EMECs, the 4th EMEC presents a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and discuss, amongst clinicians, researchers and all those who share an interest in epilepsy, issues central to the treatment and care of people with epilepsy. Our diverse scientific programme, with the participation of renowned international and regional faculty, will include lectures and interactive sessions on a broad range of topics facing all health care providers in their daily practice, as well as platform sessions, poster sessions and satellite symposia. There will be ample time for discussion and to interact with speakers. A pre-congress course on multiple sclerosis will complement the main congress programme.
This conference will be a great opportunity for our region to disseminate information about epilepsy and to improve the care of people with epilepsy. We encourage all researchers and practitioners from our region and world-wide to consider contributing to the programme by submitting abstracts for oral and poster presentations.
