AJUTEC - 14th International Fair on Technical Assistance and New Technologies for the Disabled is the largest national event for this sector, it is the showcase for the launch, in Portugal, of the most recent developments in the field.
Technical assistance is a vital instrument for the wellbeing of individuals with disabilities, the elderly or individuals who require it on a temporary or permanent basis. It is designed to compensate handicaps or to limit their consequences, prevent the individual's clinical condition from worsening and allow individuals to exercise their day-to-day activities and participate in their academic, professional, cultural and social lives.
