ITMA - the International Exhibition of Textile Machinery - has been held every four years since 1951. It is the world's largest international textile and garment machinery exhibition, an event which is owned by CEMATEX. ITMA is recognised as the Olympics of the textile and garment machinery industry.

Organised by MP International Pte Ltd, ITMA 2011 will take place from 22 to 29 September 2011 at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via.

The Exhibition will be open daily:
• exhibitors: 0900 hours - 2000 hours
• visitors: 1000 hours - 1900 hours
Venue :
The Fira de Barcelona boasts the largest trade fair area in Spain and is one of the biggest in Europe. With its two venues, MontjuÏc and Gran Via, it offers 365,000 square metres of gross exhibition space.
The Gran Via venue, where ITMA 2011 will be held, is designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito. It features state-of-the-art trade fair technology. It currently has a gross exhibition area of 200,000 square metres in the six pavilions. The venue will be enlarged to 240,000 square metres following the construction of two new pavilions.
