Surabaya is the capital city of East Java, Indonesia's most industrialised province with a regional GDP of US$68 billion, which grew by over 6% last year. With a population of over 38 million the Province represents a regional market bigger than Malaysia and Singapore combined. Trade and manufacturing account for 58% of the region's GDP and these sectors have an annual targeted growth rate of 6.5%.
Held in the new purpose built Grand City Convention & Exhibition Centre, the 2012 event attracted 355 exhibitors from 24 countries and was attended by 7,539 trade and business visitors from throughout the region.
