A record number of visitors attended Electrical Building Technology Guangzhou, China's leading event for the electrical engineering and building automation industries, when it ran concurrently with the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition from 9 - 12 June 2011 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou.
The combined shows attracted 100,465 visitors, an increase of 40% compared to attendance for the 2010 show.'Local visitors numbered 80,510, a 44% increase and international visitors, representing 116 countries and regions, totalled 19,955, a rise of 26%.'The top ten international visitor countries and regions were Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, India, Japan, USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Russia.
In terms of exhibition space, the eighth edition of Electrical Building Technology Guangzhou was the largest ever show, attracting 283 exhibitors in a dedicated hall of 10,000 sqm.
