The stability of and safety within underground mines are enhanced by the design, operation and control of mine fill systems. The 14th International Symposium on Mining with Backfill will focus on the important role that mine backfill technologies play in the mining cycle; providing opportunities for mines to manage stress, optimize resources and waste streams as part of a holistic mining strategy.
