Mondial de La Biere was founded in 1994 in Montreal, Canada. Over the years, and under the governance of Jeannine Marois, President and Co-Founder of the festival, and with the help of her team, theevent has become the largest festival of international beers in North America, with a reputation that has traveled to many countries. A highly successful version of the festival is the Mondial de La Biere Europe, born in 2009. After three years in Strasbourg, the organizers announced that the fourth edition will be held in September in Mulhouse, France.
For the forth time in Rio de Janeiro, the event is expected to become the most prominent international beer festival. With a successful track record in several foreign countries, the Mondial de la Biere aims to restore the noble status of beer, providing local and foreign visitors with an opportunity to taste a wide variety of quality beers, while emphasizing the importance of responsible consumption.
