The theme of APASL 2023 is 'Innovation and Paradigm Shift in Hepatology'. Over the past decades, our cumulative knowledge has made dramatic progress in the field of hepatology, changing various treatment concepts in liver diseases. Such progress includes the use of direct anti-viral agents in the treatment of hepatitis C, various systemic therapeutic agents in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, the use of artificial intelligence to support the diagnosis of liver diseases, etc. To build on our collective commitment in making continuing progress in this field, APASL is organizing a comprehensive scientific program including state-of-the-art lectures, symposiums, and workshops, etc. Our goal is to bring together renowned investigators from all over the world to share their latest research findings and knowledge on current hepatology.
