13th International Conference of the International Institute for Infrastructure Resilience and Reconstruction (IIIRR). The main theme of this year conference is "Building a disaster-resilient city". Papers related to mitigation of disasters, prevention methods of disasters, resilience enhancement, reduced exposure to hazards and attentiveness to adverse occasions are especially encouraged for submission. The conference offers special sessions on these key focus areas in addition to regular sessions. We earnestly hope that the 13th conference of IIIRR will provide attendees a significant opportunity to think about how each of us can contribute through engineering technology to overcome hardships and prepare for the future after natural disasters.
