It is an immense pleasure to welcome you to the 58th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Nephrology (ESPN) in Bordeaux, France, an exceptional UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The 58th ESPN annual meeting has been structured to represent a unique professional experience, fostering opportunities to connect with colleagues and friends, initiate new collaborations, and enjoy the French way of life. With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, the scientific program will highlight the most recent advances in the field of Pediatric Nephrology through state-of-the-art lectures and invited expert talks. Three pre-congress courses will be organized, on therapeutic apheresis, kidney transplantation, and a novel course on Pediatric Nephrology nursing organized for allied professionals who care for children with kidney diseases. In addition, we are pleased to introduce for the first time a pre-congress workshop in French dedicated to colleagues from Francophone countries, especially of the African region. Special sessions addressing major societal challenges, including climate change, the workforce crisis, and the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare, will also be featured during the congress. The scientific program will place a strong emphasis on research abstracts, presented in various formats (e-posters, short and long oral presentations, and best abstracts), allowing ample occasions for meaningful discussion and debate.
The meeting will take place in the Bordeaux Congress Center, located in Lake district easily accessible by Tram from the city center.
The 58th ESPN Annual Meeting promises to be an outstanding opportunity for learning, networking, and exchanging ideas in a charming host city.
