For every two years since October, 2001, The Trauma and Musculoskeletal Diseases Foundation, and the Zeromski Hospital's Department of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery, have hosted the International Total Knee Arthroplasty Symposium. This symposium is approved by PTOiTr (the Polish Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery Society), EFORT and ESSKA.
The symposium focuses on the exchange of experiences and discussion around the continuously developing field of knee arthroplasty. Topics include: improving general surgery and rehabilitation procedures, increasing awareness of different arthroplasty treatments, and handling various complications and infections.
