For nearly 25 years, Longwall USA has been the leading conference for longwall mining. While shearers, AFCs and shields do much of the work, longwalls also rely on a network of continuous miners and conveyors. It's time to broaden the discussion to include all aspects of underground coal mining.
We're Expanding the Scope
In addition to longwall-related programming, the conference will include:
Additional focus on room-and-pillar mining;
More emphasis on coal handling and storage; and
Better information for operations management
