In more than three decades, Inter-tabac in Dortmund has established itself as an internationally leading trade fair for tobacco products and smoking accessories. The amount of international exhibitors and visitors has increased rapidly, particularly in the past few years. In March 2012 we finally made it: Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund GmbH exported the successful idea: with the 1st Inter-tabac ASIA which took place from 15th to 17th March 2012 the door into the growing Asian market opened.
The premiere of Inter-tabac ASIA took place in Manila, in the Philippines. The venue was the Philippines International Convention Center (PICC), which offers ideal conditions for holding an international specialized trade fair. In total 60 exhibitors from 25 countries were a part of it.
