Proforest, a major event in the forest machine industry, will be held at Kalajoki Airport. Finland's most important forest industry event has been held earlier in 2017 and 2019 in Haapavesi, and as the event grows, the event will be held in Kalajoki in the future.
The 2019 event was attended by 170 exhibitors and had 8,000 visitors.
