FIDIC Asia Pacific (also known as ASPAC) is a regional group comprising 22 national member associations aimed at coordinating FIDIC activities in the Asia-Pacific region. Its objectives encompass representing the consulting engineering industry, fostering regional cooperation, aiding member associations in capacity-building for private consulting services, and ensuring access to work opportunities in their respective countries. The group also focuses on promoting technology transfer and capacity building, organizing training programs, and advocating for the formation of local consulting engineering associations.
Additionally, FIDIC Asia Pacific strives to elevate the status of national associations and uphold high professional practice and ethics standards. The group aims to voice common opinions to relevant bodies and facilitate good relations between member associations, clients, and the public.
