The Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) has established itself as the most elite business-to-business event on the global Airshow calendar. Taking place at the five star purpose built venue at Sakhir, Kingdom of Bahrain, BIAS is held on a biennial basis with the next show taking place 16-18 January 2014.
BIAS was launched in 2010 and was a sell-out success. The second BIAS in 2012 was also outstandingly well received with all 40 chalets sold, 20,000 trade visitors attending from 35 countries and 84 aircraft taking part in displays. These included the Russian Knights, Al Furzan aerobatic team and a never-before-seen all-Bahraini formation flight of a Gulf Air A330 flanked by four Royal Bahraini Air Force F-5s and four F-16s.
