The prestigious ITA-AITES World Tunnel Congress, hosted by the Society of Engineers - UAE and its UAE Tunnelling Chapter, comes to Dubai World Trade Centre for the very first time. It is the world's leading tunnelling event, bringing together more than 2000 tunnel and underground space experts and professionals from all around the world.
Held under the theme 'The Role of Tunnels in Building Future Sustainable Cities', it will explore the latest innovations in all areas of tunnelling, from tunnel project development to design and construction, and from tunnel service-life strategies to how these can support sustainability. The program will feature multiple technical tracks, along with training courses, poster presentations, the General Assembly, technical tours of on-going projects in the UAE and a lively exhibition with the latest solutions in tunnelling.
