The fifth edition of the InfraTech trade fair, which will take place from September 20th to 22nd, 2022 at Messe Essen in North Rhine-Westphalia, will deal with infrastructure in its entirety. It is about the areas of civil engineering, road construction and hydraulic engineering, supply and disposal, public space design and mobility as well as energy and the environment.
The infrastructure challenges are significant, but the opportunities are just as great. Especially in the areas of digitization, sustainability, energy transition and the major renovation and replacement task, there are challenges that can only be solved together. We need to rethink infrastructure together: embrace what is good but be open to what can be improved. Rethinking infrastructure together.
InfraTech 2020 welcomed 234 exhibitors and 7.989 visitors. Many exhibitors reported that the number of visitors over the course of three days were consistently high. The exhibitors were pleased that the proportion of trade visitors was once high again. The lecture events of IKT - Institute for Underground Infrastructure and the Kirschbaum Verlag, which were filled to capacity, were extremely successful.
