On behalf of the International Committee and the Local Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you at the 14th International Workshop on Railway Noise (IWRN14) in Shanghai, China, which will be held on 7-9 December 2022. This workshop follows the earlier successful editions held in Derby (1976), Lyon (1978), Monument (1981), Noordwijkerhout (1985), Voss (1995), Ile des Embiez (1998), Portland (2001), Buxton (2004), Munich (2007), Nagahama (2010), Uddevalla (2013), Terrigal (2016), and Ghent (2019). IWRN14 will be hosted by Shanghai University of Engineering Science, which will be organized by The School of Urban Railway Transportation at Shanghai University of Engineering Science and Shanghai Intex Exhibition Co., Ltd.
