Following the success of the second workshop (eT&D, held in Aalborg Denmark), now the rebranded 3rd IEEE Workshop on Electronic Grid (eGrid 2018) will be held on November 12-14, Charleston, SC, USA in the Charleston Convention Center. This international workshop, organized in cooperation between Duke Energy and Clemson University will focus on presentations by industry leading experts and will include electronic poster paper sessions.
The program consists of executive panel sessions, invited industry panels and technical presentations from government, industry and academia. All presentations will be archived in the IEEE Resource Center. Full papers will be archived in IEEE Xplore. Industry leaders, researchers, engineers and students, in both power electronics and electric power systems, will present and exchange their views of the latest advances in electronic power transmission and distribution technologies and systems. Grid stability and resilience, DERs, microgrids, standards and power quality issues will be the focus of eGrid 2018.
