As the Navy looks to engineer and build the Naval Force of the Future it is imperative that a forum exists to exchange ideas, discuss lessons learned and develop new ideas. All outside of the traditional acquisition process. Technology, Systems and Ships (TSS) is designed to create such a forum. Forward looking and emerging technologies will be discussed. New developments and programs will be highlighted. Challenges involving workforce development will be openly identified. Specific speakers will present current Fleet priorities and challenges as well as a unique view of the future, learning from the past. International shipbuilding concepts will also be presented. A vibrant technical papers and Young Professionals Development Program will run in parallel with the main program. TSS is an excellent opportunity to learn, network and further all professional naval engineering careers.
The ASNE Combat Systems Symposium 2023 will focus on Warfighting Capability, Speed to Fleet, Innovation, and Readiness. PE0 IWS and ONR will present their unique perspectives with Keynote Addresses and Panels on how we expand our forward presence, enhance our warfighting readiness, innovate and modernize our combat system capability and how we increase the speed at which we deliver capability to the Fleet. OPNAV N96, AEGIS BMD and Naval Research Laboratory will also weigh in on enhancing Warfighting capability and readiness during this one-day event.
