Government of Odisha is delighted to host the International Dam Safety Conference - 2019 in Bhubaneswar, the Temple City and the Capital of Odisha. Odisha has a rich cultural heritage besides having excellent conference facilities. Bhubaneswar is a pleasant and safe city with good travel connections and comfortable options for stay.
The conference program besides technical interactions, includes an exhibition where the organizations from around the world will showcase their products, and services reflecting the contemporary developments in technology. The participants and accompanying persons will be able to enjoy the Odisha hospitality and participate in sightseeing tours to some world heritage sites like the Sun Temple in Konark, Jagannath temple in Puri, a mighty historical structure built about millennia ago, and Chilika lake,the largest coastal lagoon in India as well as largest wintering ground for migratory birds in the Indian sub-continent.
