The International Biotechnology Symposium and Exhibition (IBS) is organized under the auspices of IUPAC (the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) since 1960.
Following the successful meeting held in Rotterdam in 2024, we are honored to invite you to join us in Kobe, Japan for the commemorative 20th International Biotechnology Symposium and Exhibition (IBS2026). IBS2026 will be held from June 28-July 2, 2026, at the Kobe International Conference Center in central Japan.
IBS2026 will cover a wide scope of research fields related to biotechnology, including but not limited to topics focusing on the environment, energy, industry, health and food. The symposium also provides platforms to present research on diverse organisms, ranging from microorganisms to plants and mammalian cells.
