AUVSI has deep roots with the defense community. Since our founding in 1972 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, our work has focused on connecting industry with the DoD to provide improved situational awareness, operational capabilities, and safety for our warfighters.
AUVSI Defense has evolved over the years as a multi-stage event designed to convene the defense community and support the integration of unmanned/uncrewed technologies. Part of the conference series is always held in the Washington, D.C. area to allow Pentagon officials and program managers to interface directly with industry leaders and solutions providers - sharing updates to programs of record and technology roadmaps, discussing enhancements to the acquisitions process, and exploring the latest unmanned/uncrewed technologies.
