The 14th International Topical Meeting on Nuclear Reactor Thermal-Hydraulics, Operation, and Safety (NUTHOS-14) will take place in Vancouver, Canada from August 25-28, 2024. NUTHOS-14 will be hosted by the Canadian Nuclear Society (CNS), and co-hosted by the American Nuclear Society (ANS), Atomic Energy Society of Japan (AESJ), Chinese Nuclear Society (CNS), Korean Nuclear Society (KNS), and the Chung-Hwa Nuclear Society (CHNS).'Vancouver is one of the premier conference sites in the world owing to its easy to access location, diversity of attractions, and closeness to nature.
The NUTHOS conference is held in principle every two years. The first was held in Taipei in 1984 followed by Tokyo (1986), Seoul (1988), Taipei (1994), Beijing (1997), Nara (2004), Seoul (2008), Shanghai (2010), Kaohsiung (2012), Okinawa (2014), Gyeongju (2016), Qingdao (2018), and Hsinchu (2022). NUTHOS has become one of the major events in the field and we are excited to host the first in-person NUTHOS since 2018!
NUTHOS-14 will cover technical tracks including General Thermal Hydraulics, Advanced Thermal-Hydraulic Modelling and Experiments, Plant Operations, Regulation, Accident Analysis and Source Term and Thermal Hydraulics and Safety of Advanced Reactors and Special Topics.
