As it has since its inception in 2008, WSI serves as a platform to help local communities achieve greater water efficiency and conservation, said Program Chairman Doug Bennett, who also is Conservation Manager for the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA), which organizes the conference each year in conjunction with numerous public- and private-sector entities.
