The UHMS Annual Scientific Meeting's primary goal is to provide a forum for professional scientific growth and development of the participants to improve knowledge and competence to further patient outcomes. The meeting provides a basis for exchange of ideas, both scientific and practical, among physicians, researchers, and other health care professionals. The meeting consists of the annual Eric P. Kindwall, Christian J. Lambertsen keynotes and new for 2023 the Jefferson C. Davis keynote, along with many other plenary, abstract and poster presentations. There will be exhibits from several hyperbaric, diving and wound care vendors running in conjunction with the meeting. The ASM affords an opportunity for participants to meet and interact with past and present leaders of the Society and to become active in Societal affairs.
