COSPAR's international Assembly has been unofficially termed the "Space Olympics" and is hosted on a different continent every two years. The Athens Assembly is expected to draw 3,000-4,000 scientists from universities and research centers from around the world, as well as representatives of the largest international space agencies. Some of the largest companies in space technology are expected to showcase their products at stands.
The Assembly will combine the latest in space research findings with activities designed to enrich the global space research community - including helping equip our future leaders, and workshopping with space industry - and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. You will have the opportunity of a lifetime to interact directly with everything that Australia has to offer - our science and innovation, our people, our heritage, and our beautiful environment.
