CeMAT SOUTH AMERICA, which takes place every two years at the trade fair venue Centro de Exposições Imigrantes in São Paulo, was launched in 2011. Organized by Hannover Fairs Sulamérica, a subsidiary of Deutsche Messe AG, CeMAT SOUTH AMERICA is supported by the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), which is involved in all CeMAT events held outside Germany, and by the Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers (ABIMAQ).
