The Republic of Congo will host the Congo International Energy Summit, one of Africa's largest energy events. Unique to the country's history, these three days will mark a unique opportunity for networking, debating and deal-making in Brazzaville, the capital city that houses the headquarters of APPO. This historic event happens at a moment when the Republic of Congo assumes the presidency of OPEC, a responsibility deposited in the most capable hands of H.E. Minister Bruno Jean-Richard Itoua.
Under the patronage of H.E. Denis Sassou Nguesso and the Ministry of Hydrocarbons, the Summit is global in nature and will have a profound impact in addressing regional and global energy issues as well as in attracting investment to the Republic of the Congo's and Africa's energy landscape.
