The SITP - Salon International des Travaux Publics - takes place yearly in Algiers. Algeria has stable economic conditions and the government is planning large investments in infrastructure projects, such as the construction and modernization of ports and airports, the reconstruction of streets and the construction of the Trans-Saharan highway. In this regard, modern technology is a decisive factor, which is offered during the SITP.
Since its foundation in 2003, it has developed into the most important Algerian trade fair for public works and for the construction sector. This is why it is now considered to be an international industrial platform for the entire construction and maintenance sector. Exhibitors from all over the world present their latest products, machines and technologies.'
This event is seen as a key step for foreign companies wishing to position themselves on the Algerian market .
