IAFS 2026 - Working Together for the Future of Forensic Sciences
The IAFS 2026 meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria, is dedicated to one clear idea: working together. In a world facing complex security, legal and humanitarian challenges, no country, discipline or institution can stand alone. Forensic sciences must advance through collaboration - across regions, specialties and generations.
IAFS 2026 will bring together experts from all continents to share knowledge, build partnerships and imagine the future of forensic sciences for the next decade and beyond. Regional "Future of Forensic Sciences" sessions, a strong focus on young professionals, hands-on workshops, and a uniting global panel will ensure that participants not only exchange experience, but also shape common priorities and practical roadmaps for the years ahead.
Our goal is for every participant to leave Sofia with new ideas, new collaborators and new energy - confident that, by working together, the global forensic community can strengthen justice, protect human rights and serve society more effectively than ever before.
