SIAM, launched in 2006 by the Royal Initiative and Will, continues to benefit from this high distinction. Previous editions of the show were inaugurated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, by His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, as well as by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Al Hassan.
This special concern for SIAM, a showcase and spearhead of national agricultural strategies, illustrates the Royal attention paid to the agricultural sector. The latter is the essential economic link of the Kingdom, the actor of rural development, the guarantor of the social balance of the country and a guarantee of security for the future of future generations.
