Every two years the Petroleum Society of Great Britain organises PETEX, a major conference and exhibition in London concentrating on developments in North-West Europe.
PETEX is of great significance, as it is one of the few North Sea/European centred conferences dedicated to the sub-surface. It is a place for service companies to display the latest developments in the industry to the many petroleum explorers and engineers who attend. PETEX 2012 saw an enhanced focus on International activities with an expanded technical programme in addition to a 20% increase in registrations and a 14% increase in exhibition space.
