The AMOS Conference is Australia's pre-eminent meeting profiling the latest findings in applications of meteorology, climate science and oceanography across local, national and global scales.
Our next conference will be held in Melbourne as we celebrate 40 years of the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (AMOS). It is a milestone worth marking, but the story we celebrate reaches back much further. For tens of thousands of years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have observed the seasons, weather and waters of this continent, developing knowledge systems that continue to inform how we understand Country today.
