BRASILPACK, main packaging industry event in the Southern Hemisphere, synthesizes well the growing trend in the business trade fairs - qualified audience and substantial volume of sales.
The trade fair is part of the INTERNATIONAL PACKING AND PRINTING MACHINERY & EQUIPMENT WEEK, which also comprises the FIEPAG (International Paper and Graphic Industry Trade Fair) and FLEXO LATINO AMERICA (International Flexography Trade Fair).
The trade fair started in 1967 as a Packaging Show.'In 1973, it was renamed to SIE (International Packaging Show). In the 1975 edition, the SIE merged to FIEPAG (International Packaging, Paper and Graphic Arts Trade Fair). In 1998, the exhibitors of the sector gained their own trade fair, the BRASILPACK (International Packaging Trade Fair). In 2008, the main trade fair specialized in the packaging industry in the Southern Hemisphere became part of the International Packaging and Printing Machinery & Equipment Week.
