on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity (BMLEH), the German Society for Animal Production (DGfZ) and the German Organizing Committee are very pleased to invite you to the 77th meeting of the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP), which will take place from 7 to 11 September 2026 in the lively and historic city of Hamburg. Under the general theme "Shaping resilient livestock systems is key to circular agriculture", we will discuss innovative approaches and solutions for sustainable and resilient livestock systems. Knowledge-based innovations in the livestock sector are essential for developing resilient, circular agricultural systems that can ensure food security, promote animal health, mitigate the negative effects of climate change and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Not only from Europe, but from all over the world, top-class scientists from various disciplines come together at the EAAP Annual Meetings to exchange ideas, present their latest research findings in 12 Study Commissions and establish new contacts from science and industry. No other conference in the world offers such a scientific exchange and excellent platform in this specialized field as the EAAP conferences. We look forward to welcoming around 1,600 - 2,000 participants from over 60 nations to Hamburg.
