The European Symposium on Applied Thermodynamics (ESAT) is the oldest and most renowned conference on Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, with the first edition being held in 1974, in West Berlin (Germany), under the leadership of Prof. Helmut Knapp. ESAT will be organized for the 3rd time in Portugal and for the 1st time in Lisbon.
The conference aims to cover the advancements in the fundamental methods at the basis of research in applied thermodynamics with a clear impact on the final applications.
