The 3rd Global CemCCUS Conference and Exhibition will take place in Hamburg, Germany, on 9 - 10 June 2026, with a confirmed field trip to Holcim's Lagerdorf cement plant on 11 June 2026.
The 3rd Global CemCCUS Conference and Exhibition will cover developments and the state-of-the-art in carbon capture, utilisation and sequestration for the cement and lime industries.
Carbon capture from cement and lime production and its subsequent use or sequestration will be unavoidable in a world which requires net-zero-carbon emissions by 2050. Once cement and lime producers have done everything else that they can to reduce their CO2 emissions - measures that are covered in the sister-conferences Global CemFuels, Global Slag and Global FutureCem - then they will be obliged to capture the rest, and either repurpose it, or sequester it.
