We are delighted to welcome you to the 2nd IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society International Conference on Bionanotechnology & BioMEMS, hosted by the University of Birmingham in September 2026.
This conference will provide a unique forum to showcase basic and translational research in bionanotechnology and BioMEMS, addressing challenges in the design, fabrication, integration, and operation of micro- and nanoscale systems for biomedical applications. The conference will highlight advances in microfluidics, nanosensors, implantable and ingestible devices, lab-on-a-chip technologies, smart materials, and biointerfaces, as well as emerging approaches for in-vivo monitoring, targeted delivery, and precision diagnostics. It will also demonstrate how BioMEMS and nanoscale technologies can be combined with and benefit advances in tissue engineering,'artificial intelligence, imaging, and sensing platforms to enable patient-centred, clinically impactful, and translational healthcare solutions.
