The Ministry of Water Resources in the Republic of IRAQ Headed by His Excellency the Minister of Water Resources, Eng. Aoun Diab Abdullah, and Eng. Hussein Abdul Amir, Buga President of the Iraqi National Committee of Irrigation and Drainage (IRQCID) . delighted to extend a warm invitation to all participants for the 11th Micro Irrigation Conference, Which will be managed and organized by the Ministry of Water Resources.
Micro-irrigation techniques, like drip and sprinkler systems, are highly efficient in water use. With increasing water scarcity around the world, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions, micro-irrigation is a critical technology that helps conserve water while optimizing crop production.
Micro-irrigation, is a sustainable solution for water management in agriculture. These systems deliver water directly to the root zone of plants, reducing water loss due to evaporation, runoff, or deep percolation.
