The symposium is jointly convened by the International Association for Hydro-Environment engineering and Research (IAHR).
Ecohydraulics focuses on linkages between hydrodynamics, geomorphology, hydrology and ecological processes in freshwater, marine and lentic ecosystems. A highly interidisciplinary field, it brings together a community working on topics such as aquatic biota movements and bioenergetics, dynamics of sediment and nutrient transport, effects of flow regime regulation and physical restoration on aquatic habitats and many others .
