This important meeting was established in 1972 due to the growing importance and social and medical responsibility of dermatology in Latin America. It is held annually, except for the year in which it coincides with the Ibero-Latin American Congress of Dermatology. It is a meeting for scientific exchange, teaching, and fellowship, with the main objective of providing ongoing training and updating in the various fields of dermatology.
