It is with great excitement that WCAworld will return to India for a major event for the first time since the successful Hyderabad regional conference in 2018.
Since that time India has made great strides in establishing itself as a premier global logistics powerhouse and has seen the fastest growth of any major market since the end of Covid in 2022.
A huge array of infrastructure projects, coupled with dynamic economic growth has opened up a whole range of new opportunities for independent forwarders - both in India and those abroad that have already identified the country as pivotal for their current and future growth. Encompassing a massive range of commodities and new trade lanes, the next ten years are predicted to see year-on-year logistics growth on over 14 per cent as the country continues its rapid journey to become the world's third largest economy.
The conference with be held in the booming metropolis of Delhi, one of the region's most important and fastest growing logistics centres. Aerocity, conveniently located close to Delhi's international airport, is an ideal location featuring modern hotels with conference facilities as well an exciting range of restaurants, bars and other entertainment options.
The conference is open to members of all WCAworld and affiliated networks and will attract over 450 delegates from around the world. Places are expected to fill rapidly and to avoid disappointment we advise members to book now.
Following the much-acclaimed successes in recent years of regional conferences in Marrakesh, Dubai, Dublin and Miami, this event offers all members a perfect opportunity to reconnect in person and strengthen existing relationships, as well as offering a fantastic opportunity to develop their business with India.
We cannot wait to see you all in Delhi in November and in the meantime if you have any questions regarding the conference, please do not hesitate to contact your WCAworld regional representative.
