Every three years, the World Water Forum mobilizes creativity, innovation, and know-how around water. Serving as a stepping-stone towards global collaboration on water challenges, the Forum is a unique multistakeholder platform where the water community and the policy and decision makers from all regions of the world can work together to find joint solutions. It is the largest international event which seeks to advance the cause of water.
From drying farmlands and depleting aquifers to rising seas and polluted waterways, the global water crisis is no longer a future concern - it's a present and intensifying reality. Water lies at the heart of food security, public health, climate resilience, peace, and economic stability. Yet billions still face water extremes (scarcity, floods risks, etc.), contamination, and unequal access.
The 11th World Water Forum, under the overarching theme "Action for a Better Tomorrow", marks a pivotal moment - not just to discuss, but to act. It calls on governments, innovators, youth, and communities to move from dialogue to delivery - scaling solutions, mobilizing financing, and forging inclusive partnerships. This is a global rally to break silos, localize action, and generate lasting impact across every region, river basin, and generation.
